Suspect Caught After More Than 20 Shots Fired Near Bridgeport Apartment Complex

Police are releasing few details in connection with the arrest of a man connected with firing more than 20 shots in near an apartment complex on Sunday.

The incident took place around 4:30 p.m. Sunday behind the PT Barnum Apartments in Bridgeport at 225 Anthony St., Building 15, confirmed Av Harris, spokesman for the Bridgeport Police Department.

Investigators, who located shell casings in the middle courtyard of the complex, said the shooter was a black male with a mask who fled the area on a blue and white dirt bike, Harris said.

Police were able to stop the unidentified man at Hollister and Connecticut avenues. No other details have been released.
